Samson Young , a washed-up author who has had 20 years of writer’s block , is dying from a terminal illness. While living in London, he meets Nicola Six, a clairvoyant who has foreseen her own demise at the hands of one of three men in her life, on the night of November 5th, her 30th birthday. Samson strikes a deal with Nicola. He watches, with voyeuristic intensity , and a rising sexual frustration, recording her last days and turning the story of her death into his masterpiece. From Sam’s perspective she is a woman who has it all. The epitome of the Femme Fatale, she can ensnare men with just a look from those enchanting eyes. Yet the more he gets to know her , the more he sees through the lipstick and paint, the play acting and pretence, the pretty , little lies and manipulations. He sees her for what she really is. Empty , hollow, fake. Nicola doesn’t fear death, because she has never known what it is to be alive. He is determined to school her with a dose of reality, the story of Samson… and the Whore…
